School Events

Creative Music DJs offers entertainment packages to a vast number of schools spanning throughout San Diego County. We ensure that our staff, music, and equipment are appropriate to whatever audience we may be performing for. Every school dance may include free lighting effects to avoid the arguments of students wanting lights out, with staff wanting to be able to see what is going on clearly. In addition, all of our lighting packages are upgradeable at extremely reasonable rates.

One of the things students always worry about is getting a DJ that doesn’t actually know what they actually listen to. This doesn’t happen with Creative Music DJs. We maintain constant awareness of the latest radio hits and always make sure to have them, sometimes before students even know about them!

Elementary/Intermediate Schools

Creative Music DJs has specially trained interactive staff for all primary and intermediate level dances, to ensure as many students as possible are being involved and enjoying themselves.

Clean Music

All music played is clean music– not only censored for language, but screened for inappropriate material as well. In many instances, when we are unable to find a clean music version of a popular song that is not “Clean” enough, our staff use special software to electronically alter and censor the music ourselves to ensure your students can hear the songs they want without putting school staff in a compromising position. We understand that just because the song is ‘clean’ doesn’t mean that it is appropriate! For instance, “Blame it (on the alcohol)” is a “clean” song that we will refuse to play unless our client has deemed it acceptable.

High School Dances, Semis, & Proms

Creative Music DJs is used to playing to a large number of younger people with wide tastes in music, and we also know how to mix properly and keep the flow of music running smoothly. We have every new and up to date song available (our staff check radio and net charts on a weekly basis), and we also make sure to get requests from your student body both beforehand and at the dance itself.

Our staff are also aware that schools often use dances for fundraising, so we make a point of offering your school an absolutely engrossing dance experience. If the students have a great time, they are not only likely to attend the next dance, but also to tell their friends about their experience, resulting in increased attendance and higher school profits.

For large high-schools with large venues we may suggest that the school contract another vendor for lighting. Usually this results in a more affordable price for the entire event since we’ll only charge for the music and audio equipment! You bring the lights, we’ll supply the talent, energy, and a packed dancefloor!

While maintaining a high level of energy, our staff are always aware of what is happening at the dance, and make sure that students are enjoying themselves safely. We can also organize dance contests and games where appropriate to help get students involved and having a good time.

Fundraisers

Most school dances and youth events take money in at the door; this money often goes towards school fundraisers. Ever wonder how to increase attendance at your school dances?
