San Diego DJ for School Dances
The Creative Music DJ offers entertainment packages to a vast number of schools spanning throughout San Diego County. I ensure that my appearance, music, and equipment are appropriate to whatever audience I may be performing for. Every school dance may include free lighting effects to avoid the arguments of students wanting lights out, with staff wanting to be able to see what is going on clearly. In addition, all of my lighting packages are easily upgraded at extremely reasonable rates.
One of the things students always worry about is getting a DJ that doesn’t actually know what they listen to. This doesn’t happen with The Creative Music DJ. I maintain constant awareness of the latest radio hits and make sure to always have them, sometimes before students even know about them!

Elementary/Intermediate Schools
The Creative Music DJ is a trained interactive entertainer for all primary and intermediate level dances, to ensure as many students as possible are being involved and enjoying themselves.
Clean Music
All music played is clean music– not only censored for language, but screened for inappropriate material as well. In many instances, when I are unable to find a clean music version of a popular song that is not “Clean” enough, I’ll use special software to electronically alter and censor the music myself to ensure your students can hear the songs they want without putting school staff in a compromising position. I understand that just because the song is ‘clean’ doesn’t mean that it is appropriate! For instance, “Blame it (on the alcohol)” is a “clean” song that I will refuse to play unless my client has deemed it acceptable.
High School Dances, Semi-formals, & Proms
The Creative Music DJ is used to playing to a large number of younger people with wide tastes in music, and I also know how to mix properly and keep the flow of music running smoothly. I have every new and up to date song available (I check radio and net charts on a weekly basis), and I also make sure to get requests from your student body both beforehand and at the dance itself.
Of course, I’m aware that schools often use dances for fundraising, so I make a point of offering your school an absolutely engrossing dance experience. If the students have a great time, they are not only likely to attend the next dance, but also to tell their friends about their experience, resulting in increased attendance and higher school profits.sem
For large high-schools with large venues I may suggest that the school contract another vendor for lighting. Usually this results in a more affordable price for the entire event since I’ll only charge for the music and audio equipment! You bring the lights, I’ll supply the talent, energy, and a packed dance floor!
While maintaining a high level of energy, I’m always aware of what is happening at the dance, and make sure that students are enjoying themselves safely. I can also organize dance contests and games where appropriate to help get students involved and having a good time.
