Will and Yu Xie chose to have their wedding ceremony and reception at La Jolla Country Club. This country club is located on a hill overlooking the beautiful city of La Jolla, and is a great place for both ceremonies and receptions.

Will and Yu Xie had their ceremony on the Kikuyu fairway grass.
For an interlude, they had a personal friend of theirs perform a cover of Etta James – At Last.

Cocktail hour was held on the Outdoor Terrace. To provide sound outside for this, I used my wireless speaker system.
Wedding Reception
For larger weddings such as Will and Yu Xie’s, dancing is typically held in the Living Room. I set up my equipment on the far side of the dance floor, clean and professional as always.
Grand Entrance
Dinner was held in the Sunset Room, which is where we also did the Grand Entrance and toasts.
Immediately after the Grand Entrance, we went into dinner, then toasts.
Wedding Toasts
Will and Yu Xie then gave a short speech and thanked their family and guests.
First Dance
When toasts were completed, I invited all guests to move into the Living Room and began their first dance.

Grand Exit
For their Grand Exit, I instructed all guests to move downstairs to the entrance, and we did a big send-off as they got into an antique car and left their event.
Post-Reception
Before they left the party, I made sure to get my signature post-reception photo with the newlyweds.
