In November of 2012 I met a couple of hometown locals– Jeremy and Bailey. They were a referral from a DJ colleague, Matt, and were looking for something in a DJ that they never actually explained to me in detail. We met here near both of our places of residence, and after a great meeting I asked them what their thoughts were. Bailey’s reply was something similar to, “We have been looking for a while for the right fit, and I think we’ve found what we’re looking for.” I’m still unsure of the details of that statement… but a few days later they booked my services to both of our delights.
They added on my ceremony services, wedding monogram, dance floor lighting, and wireless speakers package.
Before we continue with more details, here’s something to sum up the night. A dance floor video of Jeremy and Bailey’s dance floor once the fun started! There’s two more videos down below, by the way. This night was full of dancing!

We placed the monogram directly in the center of the monogram for best view. One thing I always love about Coronado Community Center is their black dance floor. It makes my monograms so nice and white!

Wedding Dancing I
This was seriously one of the most packed dance floors I’ve seen in a long time. But don’t take my word for it. See for yourself in this video and then through the talented ‘eyes’ of Eye For Love Photography!
Here’s a persistant note I got from one of the guests with a request. It’s a great song, so I was happy to oblige.
After a bit of dancing we took a break and began cutting the cake and then letting guests enjoy the cupcakes. Jeremy and Bailey got a bit playful with their dessert. Oh yeah, and rest assured that Jeremy got his in the end. Bailey got him good!
Wedding Dancing II
This night was so insanely fun that we ended up doing an encore song (I cleared it with the venue first, but since the staff had been standing in the doorway enjoying the show for most of the night, they were happy to let the guests have one more dance). I polled the crowd and the most requested encore song ended up being Carly Rae Jepsen – Call Me Maybe.
Of course I had to get my signature photo with my happy clients.
Some cool photos of Yours Truly in action…
Here’s the review of me, posted by Jeremy on Yelp. It’s now ‘filtered’ due to Yelp’s lame and largely faulty review system, but I assure you it is legit, just like the 10 other reviews the Yelp filter thinks are fake.
Creative Music DJ Dennis Jones was amazing! We got married on 1-19-13 and the day was perfect. One thing I will say is you get what you pay for. Dennis was honest right from the beginning and was very thorough. Having a great DJ is one of the most important things when planning a wedding. When we were planning our wedding we interviewed various DJs. Dennis was the only one who took the time to get to know us. He fit our style and theme perfectly. There were people in our families that I have never seen dance before ever! The dance floor was packed the whole night. From the first dance to the last. Too bad we didn’t have a bigger dance floor. I would 100% recommend Dennis to anyone planning a wedding. If you don’t go with Creative music DJ you are for sure missing out. Thanks again Dennis you killed it!
