Birthday Party – Sushi Deli – DJ Hero
birthday, san diego dj November 5th, 2009Off the beaten path, I decided to make a brief post here to talk about my birthday.

First off, as of this moment, 32 friends wished me happy birthday on my DJ Dennis J Facebook page. That’s easily my lifetime record, and I took the time to thank each person individually. I feel so appreciated right now, and albeit it a little bit popular!
For my birthday, my friend Domo Arredondo and his fiance, Annie Peyron, took me out to dinner at Sushi Deli in the Gaslamp district. It was delicious, relatively inexpensive, and several of my friends accompanied me and my fiance, Anjie.
Afterwards, Anjie bought me DJ Hero for PS3, so we all went back to the house and played a few rounds of it. I can honestly say that it is fun, a bit challenging on the harder difficulty levels, but it will never ever teach someone how to actually DJ. Sorry kids, you’re going to need real turntables and a real mixer if you actually want to learn the craft. DJ Hero isn’t going to cut it.
However, we all had fun, and that’s what counts. Thanks to everyone who helped me celebrate my birthday. I love you all!
